Just two weeks ago Carloia, Coppetti, Garzi e Rocchini have won the Fun Class European Championship.

Four boys, a boat is an experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. If it were a movie so it could be described the adventure of Filippo, Luca, Lorenzo and Stefano, Castiglione della Pescaia D.O.C.  with a passion for sailing.
Their first participation in a European Championship Class Fun rose immediately on the highest step of the podium putting behind italian formations emblazoned as the crew of the brothers Azzi on 'Wanderfun 3' and 'Funatica' ITA 555 skippered by Stefano Menoni.
The trip to the lake Tegernsee, near Munich, are back with a cup that will surely be exposed in, the Club Velico Castiglionese, where they grew up as men and as athletes.
To those who have supported them and helped them, even financially, I thank her very: the Sailing Club, to members who havehelped in the organization of the trip and then to the owner Nicola Giovannini that has made available to the boat and has edited most of the logistical aspects. Eight races over two days, a succession of tensions and emotions, a victory always the scope and the four are not miss. And so it was with a third and a fourth race for framing. Between 'Funking' and the first place there was only a last barrier, a regatta, the octave, in which it was sufficient to obtain a placement in the first six to be proclaimed samples. Champions.
The four do not disappoint, close third with the direct competitor you square only sixth, and Castiglione del Lago sailors areon the roof of Europe.
Four friends who have grown up together, that they wanted to win in a manner that was strong this campionship and that they have enjoyed this experience until the end.
The confirm Lorenzo Carloia at the helm in the team' Funking'; Filippo Rocchetti  tactical team, fresh from graduating in mechanical engineering,  that in Germany celebrated this life target; then Stefano Garzi as tailer and Luca Coppetti, bowman. A passion strong, a great friendship with, a small country that thanks to four boys should be in the limelight of the European scene. Certainly a company not to be forgotten.
